What inspired you to pursue a career in Culinology?
Well, before I even knew that Culinology was a word, I knew I wanted to be a foodie-something. I’ve always been interested in nutrition, healthy eating, and cooking. During my studies at Clemson, I was introduced to the field of Culinary Science and the rest is history!
What excites you about working for CuliNex?
Learning! This whole experience is going to be so cool because I am able to learn about the industry, how CuliNex works, how to be a great Culinologist, and I get to explore Seattle along the way.
What's your favorite foodie city?
London. There are tons of great spots to eat at from lots of different cuisines. Not to mention the Indian food! Yum.

What food trend interests you the most?
Bugs! I think there are so many things we could do with insects and their nutritional benefits. Get ready for cockroach cookies world!
People should eat more:
Cheese. Or bacon.
When you're not cooking you're:
Reading, watching Parks and Rec and cheering on Clemson. GO TIGERS!
